- The Casa de las Heras, popularly known as the Clock House, stands at number 1 Calle Maestra, on the corner of Plaza Santa María.
- A singular Modernista building put up in 1906, its ground floor was a shop and its upper floor a home.
- These days the Clock House is in the news again in Jaén. The neglect it suffers, like most of our heritage, has shown itself in new cracks that make its ruinous state even more evident.
- From here we join the people of Jaén in demanding that the authorities concerned protect our heritage.
