The Lugares Míticos de Jaén books continued and widened the work of making the province's heritage known, alongside the weekly work on the website. We published two, in 2015 and 2017, of sixteen chapters each, one place per chapter: monumental, industrial, natural and wartime heritage. Every chapter gathered more than a dozen photographs and a text written by someone closely tied to the place — not academic writing, but a close, personal look.

Neither book is in distribution any more. The first is out of print, and a few copies of the second may still be left in the bookshops that sold it. Both were deposited in local and provincial libraries, where they should still be available. These pages remain as a record of the two, and above all of the people who made them possible. The books themselves were published in Spanish.
