- The Cerrada del Utrero is one of the shortest routes in the park and yet one of the most beautiful.
- A clearly marked path leads us to the waters of the Guadalquivir, which flows squeezed into a narrow gorge.
- After a ten-minute walk we are beside the small Cerrada reservoir. From here the water runs down steep slopes to the El Valle power station.
- At this point we can see how the narrow gorge has opened up and its walls have grown very tall, forming a spectacular landscape.
- In view, too, is the famous Linarejos waterfall, a spectacular 60-metre fall that we will cover in another article.

More about this place…
The Cerrada del Utrero is one of the best-known routes in the park, thanks to its well-kept path, its short length and a spectacular landscape. The Guadalquivir squeezes into a narrow gorge, dropping steeply in a short distance while we walk above its waters. On this walk we can also enjoy the spectacular Linarejos waterfall, a fall of more than 60 metres that ends in a lovely pool.
