More about this place…
Rafael Zabaleta Fuentes (1907-1960) is one of the most important Jaén artists of the 20th century. Of a marked Expressionist style, some of his works hang in museums as prestigious as those of Buenos Aires, New York and Tokyo. Most of his legacy, however, is in his home town, Quesada. There, in the museum named after him, a monographic exhibition of his work is on show, with 114 oil paintings, 11 watercolours and 500 drawings.
