More about this place…
Considered the oldest in Spain, the Romería de la Virgen de la Cabeza takes thousands of pilgrims every year through the beauty of the Sierra de Andújar Natural Park to the Cerro del Cabezo, where the Sanctuary stands. The traditional route from the town of Andújar to the Sanctuary is called the Camino Viejo. The “San Ginés - Lugar Nuevo” path follows much of it, leading to one of its most emblematic spots, the famous Pilgrim’s Viewpoint.
